Business Coach

A business coach helps a business define what their goals are. Most people who start up a business these days use a coach. A coach helps the business owner in creating their business plan. The coach will help the business owner get absolute clarity on the systems, marketing strategies, plans, and solutions they want. Then a business coach will then support a business in making all the important changes needed to achieve those outcomes.

Studies have shown that a coach will consistently deliver a high return on investment. Many businesses who hire a coach achieve great levels of success, happiness and fulfillment. (ICF studies have shown a 98.5% client satisfaction rate.) All of the top fortune 500 companies use a business coach that help a business get more efficient, and have more free time.

A business coach is different from a life coach. Most people hire a life coach if they are not where they want to be, or feel unfulfilled, stressed out etc. A business coach is necessary when you are either starting a business or already have a business. You would use a coach if you were currently getting undesirable results. A business coach can also be used if you are simply frustrated by trying to do it all by yourself.

There is a growing need for business coaches in America. One out of every two new business uses a coach. If you are thinking of becoming a business coach ask yourself these questions:

  • Business Coach question: Do you enjoy helping people?
  • Business coach question 2: Do you enjoy being coached and coaching others?
  • Business coach question 3: Do you have general business experience?
  • Business coach question 4: Do you have previous management experience?
  • Business coach question 5: Do you have public speaking experience

If you answered yes to any of these 5 questions, you have what it takes to become a business coach. There are many coach training programs one can use to become a certified business coach. There is no government standard one has to attain to become a coach. However it is helpful to have business specific, and coach specific training before embarking on your journey as a business coach.
